Raise DC Staff and Operations
Patricia (Trish) Dao-Tran joined the Raise DC team in August 2016. Her role includes collaborating with key data stakeholders to advance Raise DC’s high-level goals, as well as supporting the organization’s Change Networks through the management of data-sharing initiatives, technical assistance, and continuous improvement.
Dao-Tran is passionate about using data to inform policies, programs, and practices that enable children, families, and communities to thrive and be healthy. She comes to Raise DC from the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), where she completed a one-year Education Pioneers fellowship on the Data, Assessment, and Research team. There, she led a cross-functional initiative to improve systems and processes for an annual child care subsidy audit, in addition to supporting DC Alliance for Youth Advocates' expanded learning network in developing its metrics and measurements framework. Prior to her time at OSSE, Dao-Tran spent nearly five years at Boston Public Schools, where she expanded the health data infrastructure to drive data-driven decision-making and continuous learning in “Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child” initiatives.
She earned both her bachelor’s degree in biology and community health and her M.P.H. from Tufts University.
