College Access & Success Symposium

ABOUT THE EVENT

More than 100 local counselors, educators, college access organizations, higher education institutions, and community-based organizations joined TGR Foundation a Tiger Woods Charity and Raise DC at the College Access & Success Symposium on Sept. 12, 2018. The Symposium convened cross-sector stakeholders working together toward the common goal of ensuring students are able to enroll and persist in college.

The event included panels on the Summer Melt Texting Platform’s collective impact model and parent/student voices on the success of college access and completion support services, as well as 13 workshops on topics ranging from developing strategic community-based organization and high school partnerships to preparing students and counselors for the transition from high school to college and career. Download slides from most of the workshops below.
